Jen, if you’re reading this, your team’s “vision” isn’t working, and you know it. For every corn eater long time fan, you’re hemorrhaging more, and you’re not gaining a new audience. Some suggestions:
1) Stop with the faith commentary. You burned that bridge and all of the access roads. Your reconstructed faith just sounds like the Church of Jen. That may work for you, but no one else wants to join.
2) Get a REAL life. Learn from your friend Dave. Get offline. No amount of money is worth your peace. Get a real job, write real things, have real interactions with real people. You’ll love it.
3) Age with dignity and truth. Be honest about it. Women would love to hear another woman talk about this honestly. Don’t post a picture of your tummy tuck and act like we all don’t know what a real belly button looks like.
4) Stop with the crass/vulgar/low-brow humor. Have some self-respect. No one thinks it’s funny.
5) If you can’t get a “real” job, at least pick online partnerships that make sense and aren’t cringeworthy. Able - makes sense. Vag lube - does not make sense. CBD gummies - do not make sense. Again, have some self-respect.
6) Dump Tyler. He’s only bringing you down. Any sort of street cred that you think he brings you is completely diminished by how he treats you online and in video. Again, have some self-respect! Do you know the amount of following and praise you would get for showing women what it is HONESTLY like to date as a menopausal divorcée? This could be your gold mine. Where do you meet men? What are first dates like? What qualities are you looking for? What are your red flags? You could actually write interesting, fun content again!
7) Stop with all of the divorce reckoning stuff. It happened, it sucked, it’s been 3 years. You just sound bitter.

FYI - i did the elf thing before it was on the shelves commercially. maybe around year 1998 - 2000. so some people did it before he appeared on the shelf at target.

i doubt she did though.

Maybe Barbie shared her beautician with her. What is going on with the under hair though? Did she run out of time? Jen has definitely amped up her faith content. But it rings insincere in the constant onslaught of materialistic shilling. She was totally as materialistic when she was primarily known as a Christian Mommy Blogger but she didn't have to constantly shill back then to make a living. Now she has to shill constantly to keep up her lifestyle.

The conservative Christian mommy crowd left a long time ago and more liberal progressive women don't get too excited about Advent.

The faith content is absolutely amped up, and is hard for me to trust because it is so interwoven and knotted up with all the shilling. One minute it's a necklace (that is supposed to bring some form of hope) and the next minute I'm supposed to see how she's feeling tender toward Advent. I can't keep it all straight, and all of it is done with the same smile.

Except that it’s bullshit and fake. She mentions traditions that didn’t exist when her kids were young (Elf on a Shelf) and small town Main Street activities while living in Austin.

In reality she is a narcissist who actively shows contempt for her children and Remy in particular.

She can be a revisionist historian for the likes but those that have been there from the beginning know what’s up.

That's not fair. She lives in Buda, which Google says has a Christmas parade. The Elf on the Shelf book came out in 2005.

Middle aged virtual empty nesters trying to make their adult kids content is a bad strategy.

One, no one cares, and two, it can result in resentment from the kids.

Jen’s efforts at new content is sad and hilarious. Isn’t she now a perimenopause whisperer? Or is she a newly minted gluten-free whisperer? Or is she a holiday season girl boss master planner queen?

Does she ever get tired of herself?

She’s still trying to have content as if she’s a mother with young kids. Continuing to use them for content is just dumb. It does not resonate with me. And most people can’t relate to the cost of a destination holiday.
