You want to live? Lose the weight. Especially if your BMI is 35 or higher. If you can't walk a mile or two without collapsing, you're in trouble.
Spend a little less time ruminating on the internet, put the soda and chips down and start getting fit. This thing will probably come around next fall for round two. All the whining about Trump won't save you.

thanks for being reasonable but the mortality rate is much less than 2% where to start
many more cases than actually being identified
almost half the deaths are nursing home related and the rest are almost all people with multiple health conditions
bottom line for healthy folks hospitalization and death rates are almost exactly like the flu

Maryland: 29374, deaths 1404
Virginia 21570, deaths 796
All of these are higher than .2%
Do the math yourself
If you want to get creative, count the deaths per number of people admitted to a hospital
Are you being purposefully obtuse or do you really not get it? Do you think MD and VA have tested enough to find every covid positive person?
The goal of the testing isn't to "find every COVID positive person."
Why not?
Health care system is not set up that way. You have to be sick, have symptoms, get your doctor to ok you for a test, find a testing site and go there the next day. Then wait for results
