Lol okay, and Bethesda South moved to Arlington and won a national championship. Still doesn’t change where the players were formed.

Are you just looking to get the whole syc/lmvsc thing started again by getting the obvious stated that those are the same teams as those LMVSC that were also making the semis? Almost the entire team went over so why would the result be anything different from prior years. Same players, same coaches, different logo.

That's always a possibility but while here I want to see that things at the club go in the correct direction. I was interested in understanding the reasoning behind the firing and the hire being another close friend. People get so defensive so quickly and automatically start blaming LMVSC or those who left to go there. That happened and it's done with, time to move on and focus on the current issues.

My DD is in the 05s and she tells me the girls just didn’t like his style of coaching and he wasn’t connecting. I applaud SYC for making a quick change to improve their season.

That makes sense if he wasn't connecting with the team and getting someone else in there but was it enough to fire him as he was also a director? I'm sure he could have coached another team.
I am sure there is more to the story, there were a couple of rumors about the way he talked to the girls, just glad that SYC acted quickly.

I’ll be surprised if Lmvsc isn’t looking for a new TD after next year I’m sure Lula isn’t thrilled.
Lee has always been an amazing coach, but needs to be a little more humble in order to be a good leader.

At LMVSC the difference that I have seen is that many of the new directors are at our games. They also run and attend the academy practices. I have chatted with them on random topics when I see them. They also send out plenty of communications about what the focus is for practice this week along with game information etc. I have seen it as a plus and didn’t get this with the este brigade. Not knocking him or his folks in anyway just citing some differences.

We didn't move our kids to SYC last year because we wanted to see how the first year under new people went. I'd be interested in hearing feedback on the coaches in the younger age groups (are they at games, practices, how is communication, is there field space).

Why not stick around so the kid can play with his/her friends, enjoy a short commute, etc. In 3 or 4 years Este and Pepe will be gone, gone, gone...

I see, so you're just exercising your prerogative to complain about the coaches when the most important variable is convenience. It's not about soccer, it about a social opportunity that's near your home. Make perfect sense.

Many of their top teams (and others) play in the thousand or so divisions of edp. Next year the td’s plan to put them back in ccl so that a few coaches can each have 3 teams and rely on unpaid parent volunteers to run the practices while they are busy not teaching kids how to play soccer

I am sorry - what do you mean the coaches are not running practices? Don’t they attend and run all practices?
