I think way too many of you don't have any clue what it's like to be fat and ugly. The insecurities a fat ugly person deal with come out in weird ways - it makes TOTAL sense that Toby tries so hard.

I loved that he pointed out how selfish Kate is to him. FINALLY!

Totally agree. i am so over Toby and the entire Kate story line. The guy that works there is creepy and not at all believable. I'd get him more if he had actually had a conversation with Kate before making all these creepy advances.

I find Toby so controlling. I get that she should be there for him post surgery, but she also needs to work on herself so she doesn't have the same fate.

So many of the story lines on this show are just so far fetched. how does kate go to fat camp for a few months? Who's paying for this? She doesn't have a job, well she did have a job working for that woman but then just takes off to NY for Christmas and never leaves....

The TWELVE years feels awfully long a gap for Kevin and Sophie. And I'm not feeling the chemistry AT ALL either.

I watched this last night and some of the scenes in the flash back (Jack and Rebecca) are so so so CLUMSY. Especially the scenes which I feel I've already seen about 100 times before. So tedious.

I'm wondering if Randall is bipolar. Remember when his wife made the comment about how he has his own demons? Maybe he's never had a full on episode yet but the stress is leading him there. If so, I bet his mom was also bipolar and the mental health issues were part of the picture with why she couldn't raise him and/or had a drug problem. That would also fit with his dad being a musician/poet as a LOT of bipolar people are very artistic/creative.

I guess I'm willing to buy the "divorced for 12 years but still love you" thing. He's clearly been stalkjng her the whole time. And I guess maybe he felt so bad about the affair, given that he's a decent guy under it all, that he felt like he didn't deserve her all these years. What remains to be seen is whether they are really "soul mate" material that had bad timing or whether he's just romanticising the one who got away, like we all do.

And we now know that Miguel and Rebecca have been married at least 12 years, since Sophie asked about him. I don't know why but the Miguel character kind of creeps me out. They haven't developed him very well so he just sort of seems like some lech that glommed onto his best friend's bereaved widow. He also kind of seems like no fun (unlike jack who is all fun). At this point, it seems like she married him for financial stability.

I'm thinking this Sophie & Kevin storyline must be leading us somewhere. Kate, you're annoying. And Randall? First I thought Parkinson's, but I'm thinking he's stressed and in a bad place and generally really unhappy with life currently. This "tic" could be stress related?

I only made it half an hour in before getting bored and changing the channel. I don't know what's happened but I seem to have lost interest.

I don't feel the chemistry btwn Kevin & Sophie, it feels forced.

Tonight's episode made me want to yack.

I'm confused as to how the Amazon Prime Season Pass works. I thought I would get the episodes a day after they aired, but you are all talking about this week's episode like it was a repeat.
