That's right! Pretty huge win! That Bethesda S team is really, really good -- and really, really cocky.
Easy there tiger. That is Bethesda South's second team and that was the middle flight of that tournament.
VYS' new motto: Our A team is better than your B team!

Do you think the teams were divided up correctly?
My son is u9. The Red team seems to have some emerging/ decent talent. They are kicking the ball well and doing some work at foot skills. The lower levels are playing and passing. Fair. The lower 2 teams seem on par with decent rec players. My son is the lower level. He has definitely improved his game some. There was a lot of issue filling up the bottom team. 5 new players joined I think. Overall there were not subs on the bottom 2 teams. They moved from odsl to ncsl this spring.

Careful. You might open up Pandora's box. On any club, there are always parents that not happy with the rosters.

One doesn't hear complaints about the TDs or about the quality of the VYS coaches these days; it's an accomplished group, as you can see from the Super Y coaching roster. What is a tricky problem is the high coach-to-player ratio in many age groups. DS was on a field with a 1:24 coach-to-player ratio in the fall and half the players were a year older. He got tired of his team losing the in-practice competitions week after week to the older kids. We still like the coach a lot. It may just be the reality with limited field space. I would prefer more individualized attention b/c DS needs work!
