What? That's crazy. No one is sending out offers for the 26/27 yet unless your kid is the next Mia Hamm.
That's what you think, but there are many kids across many clubs that already know exactly where they'll be playing next year.... Realistically if you're top 3 or 4 player on a team, you don't think the club has already extended an offer. It's not as if a team is going to be able to bring in say 16 kids better than your current top 3 or 4 players.
Sure but you're telling me some kid who has been playing at GFR Is now considered one of the top 3 or 4 kids on VRSC's 09 team? Find that very hard to believe having a fairly decent knowledge of both of those teams.
Yep, and you haven’t even seen the best ones yet from GFR.
Actually, I have. The best ones left years ago. A couple good players still there but they won’t beat out the current players for starting positions on a team with 22 on the roster already
They will take 5-6 new players and expect those not getting playing time to quit.
Those who are not 100% committed have already been spoken to. This, together with age a group change, will allow for openings.
Very good point with the age group change; that shifts a lot of players. I always see clubs make room for new money and talent. It’s just hard for parents who have players that are on the bubble to handle this time of year.
If your player thinks he/she is on the bubble for next season the player should be looking at all options right now.
Does this mean ED and CC who are “on the bubble” of skill as a coach need to also look for another job?
Them dudes who starve to death if it weren’t for “soccer”
This is what failure in life looks like. Do they get a trophy just for showing up? If they applied the same standard they apply to players, they both get let go mid season. Can the club bring in a new coach for the all the HA programs and make them assistants or move to a rec program?
I don't think many people consider failing coaching a team to 1st place and being the Director of the Girls side in 2nd place overall in GA. If that is failure, what do you call NVA and Loudoun? Maybe an extra adjective in front of failure? What did you expect from the guy, winning a National Championship in his first two years at a Club that was an NCSL bottom dweller before he came? I dunno. Just calling a spade a spade. When I think of failure, I tend to think teams coached are bottom of table and club overall is at the bottom too. I'm normal though and the posts on this thread does not make me think their are many rational folks here.

While I'm not disputing your point, you need some better examples. Radford is D1 and Frostburg is D2.
THis had to be a parent who never played soccer in HS and "coach didn't like them so he was on the bench" so when it's not a top ACC school they don't think it's good enough. Absolutely absurd statement about Radford and Frostburg.
Radford and frostburg are laughable schools in NOVA if you want a real job.
+1 horrible education and facilities
The owner a +$100m Company I work with graduated from Frostburg.
No different than a kid who goes to an Ivy or great school and fails out.
It’s the person, not the school. The school just gives the person better opportunities.

Every club in VA its the same. Where does tour DC play? Please dont say NVA or LS (which are the same club btw)
Not really. VRSC kids are there because A. It's close to home and parents can't be arsed taking them somewhere else when they are little or B ( the likely answer when they are older) they aren't quality enough for another team.
Before you betas and haus fraud start screaming "You attack little kids", I'm not. Not every kid is Messi or Rose Lavelle. They can be an ok player and still enjoy playing and find a team. For the kids at VRSC that's for them. Water finds it's level and the staff there are happy to take your money and give false promises.
It is so funny that you think your DC is so elite. Trust me if your kid was elite, you wouldn't be posting here. You also probably dont think that your poop stinks but if you lean a little bit closer, you will find out the true.[/quote]
Why do you want someone breathing all over something you will put in your mouth? The "covid mask" you probably still wear won't help you with that.
Covid mask? Adam must have finished his ICE application.
I did, think you would have to seek help to complete though. They use big words.
Can’t afford travel soccer on a GL-7 salary.

Funny part is there’s more talent on the boys side in this club but you would never know that because of the girl side parents.
Um....the boys side are loudoun and vsa rejects.
This isn't TikTok, Karen. Bellowing about "haters" without supporting your own argument won't get you too far. It's life. Some people are better at soccer than others. Some better at math than others. Get over it. Everyone has equal opportunity but not equal results.
I find it interesting how all you adults enjoy "hating" on other people's kids. You guys all sound like bullies which means you have insecurities about your kid's abilities so you have to put others down. This forum is just a bunch of haters.
