Miami can be a great bargain. They care about your weighted GPA. My kid got into the business school last year. He only got 9,000 in merit. He had lots of classmates who didn't get into the business school. Our school has about 6 kids who go there every year and we are OOS.

Sure - she's still undecided, but interested in biology and psychology. Stats: 1530 SAT, 4.0 unweighted, 10 AP's. Lots of leadership (varsity captain of two sports, newspaper editor-in-chief, other leadership in school). No spikes or awards. No national-level EC's.

Congrats! Would you mind sharing stats? They just have one full ride scholarship and need-based aid, no other merit, right? Not sure if it is worth a look for DD if we don’t want to do full pay.
