Why do these entitled Oakton and Langley people think they deserve a menu of options and they can select their favorite? We are zoned for a mediocre school. No one is giving our kids an option to go somewhere else. It is what it is.

Fine. Friend can also pupil place.

Nice to be able to donate two hours a day of your time. Plus wait time: two and a half hours.

Isn't the eastern side of Crossfield’s boundary is actually quite far from the new school?

Crossfield is probably the farthest of all the elementary schools under consideration from KAA.

Do the buses bringing kids back from Oakton HS to the neighborhoods potentially moving to Western High School not drop off kids in other non Crossfield neighborhoods first like those that would be zoned to Waples Mills? If so we are talking in many cases the buses going an extra two miles. This is a genuine question as I do not know.

Good.
And, some of those people are going to have to switch brands. But, both are good.

When school is too crowded, adjustments must be made.
When kids are spending lots of extra time and gas on long bus rides, adjustments must be made.

I agree. If school is too crowded, adjustment is needed. If school is not too crowded yet, we can think about the issue resolution when issue arise in the future.

But, we should not be spending double in transportation costs for those students when there is much closer availability.

I love Fox Mill but it's not an AAP center.
