Maybe this is not widely known, but what hit his ear was not the actual bullet, but apparently a fragment of a bullet. That's why his ear only had a small nick. Ears bleed profusely even when nicked, which is why he did bleed on the photo. But since it was a very small cut, it healed rapidly and did not leave a visible scar that an official photog could catch on camera. There is probably a little mark if you get really close.

His story is that he was struck by a bullet, not a fragment of a bullet. The actual evidence says otherwise. No medical reports were released.

DP. It is interesting that there was never a sign of the “cut” after a day. Old men do not heal that fast. This just shows he is in league with some powerful evil spirits.
