McLean Youth Soccer leaves Fairfax Virginia Union, to explore other opportunities.
Fairfax Virginia Union, will remain a member of the ECL, participating in the
ECNL National League.
Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC) and Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) are moving forward united through Fairfax Virginia Union (FVU), with both clubs continuing to participate in the Virginia Premier Soccer League (VPSL) and ECNL Regional League.
FVU's inaugural season in the ECNL National League has been a success, with all teams taking a step forward in their development and improving their place in the standings in the highly competitive Mid-Atlantic Division, with nearly half of the 12 teams in position to earn slots in Post-Season Play (Nationals).
BRYC and VYS will continue to independently operate all their programs, including recreational and travel (ECNL Regional League and NCSL). The enduring success of each club will ensure a strong and growing pipeline of talented players in the years to come.
It is important to recognize that Northern Virginia has a rich history of success at all levels across many clubs. FVU will continue to foster a culture of collaboration in Fairfax County to UNITE like-minded clubs who, at their core, are committed to development, healthy competition, and creating opportunities for players to reach their full potential and achieve their goals in the game.
Details on upcoming ID Sessions, including registering for ID Sessions, can be found at www.fvaunion.org.
Coaching Slate will be announced on or before February 28, 2025.
