After all the facts have been presented that really matter, they now trolling about there are random complaints on FB or something.
Seriously they need to seek help.
Anonymous wrote:My niece is there now. She is happy enough but I really don’t get the frenzy. She has not really been inspired by school from what I can tell. I think coop schools are great for some kids. She is doing a second coop in fall. She probably did not need these experiences to get a great job and it breaks apart the college experience. I say this as someone whose son is in a coop school (engineering) and I’m very glad he is getting coops. But it just doesn’t seem like a great school to me. Not bad mind you … but not amazing by any means.

Even a school like MIT was still considered mostly a trade school into the 1950s. Ivies had 50 60 70% acceptance rates back in the 60s 70s. It has improved just like any other schools like you said, but strangely there are some(if more than one) person/people who are obsessed with the past specifically when it comes to Northeastern. Very weird.
True. The uneducated and ignorant give themselves away.

This. You’re arguing with stupid. Go look at their online parent facebook groups:
- they spend less per student than the Boston public school system does
- they messed up grad events so seniors had to pay a required fee and couldn’t attend a single grad event (many wrote to the head of the school saying all slots were filled even before the signup began)
- tons of parents complain that their kids can’t find co-ops…despite trying and trying.
These are real experiences of many families.
You know you are committed to the cause when you stalk facebook groups with which you are not affiliated. I have to admire the NEU basher, scowering the internet for every bad morsel of information about NEU takes dedication and time. It's just surprising you have chosen that as your endeavor. Of course, such incredible factual assertions as "tons of parents complaing that their kids can't find co-ops" is so helpful to your credibility. Out of curiousity, where does your child go to school?
Ha ha - or…my child got into NEU, I joined the FBook groups and then removed myself when a better fit came along.
I think that was my second post on this thread…and I am not bashing the school. My kid seriously considered it. Picked a T25, however, over NEU.
And…you still have’t substantively responded to those very specific complaints. Only an idiot would think those complaints are not concerning.
Sure you did. Nice story, though. Scour the interenet some more, my brother.
and who cares?
NP: people care bc it sounds like loony parents are sending kids there…that’s why.
Real data doesn't agree with the crazy hater claims.
That's why.
