A Loudoun team played the final of a tournament against a higher level Loudoun team that had some guest players from an even higher level team. The higher levels were getting mad that they weren't dominating and were instead tied well into the second half before winning by 1.
Loudoun stacks 2 good players per team and the ready are meh. Guesting kids down from higher teams is normally the weakest kids looking for more playtime so this didn't surprise me.

99% of the haters in here are disgruntled travel parents from other clubs that want VRSC to fail so badly so their bottom team player looks better at a bigger club because club name trumps talent/coaching, right? The amount of 4th/5th team parents from LS and Valor I know that regularly bring up and shit on VRSC is hilarious and cringe.
I know many 4th 5th team players at Loudoun that moved to VRSC. I don't know any that went the other direction.
I do from 2013g. They left their second team VRSC for 3rd/4th teams at Loudoun. My understanding is the incoming kids from FCV and other clubs trying to get on GA bumped a bunch of them down a team to third team VRSC. Loudoun parents are pissed about it because it stopped a number of Loudoun kids bumping up a team, which I'm sure is just adding to the spiteful posts on here.

First, the club does not post about consuming alcohol others on this thread post about it. The club advertising it for the Pro Games NOT the youth games.
Second, like you said it has been a club since 2019 and when it started it started with younger teams so only in the past 2 years have any of those players reached the age of college. The players graduating before this from the club came in at an older age and were pretty much developed at other clubs. VRSC has hired a college a new employee whose role is primary to guide players through the college pathway.
You also have to put some responsibility on the players to be willing to pursue their college path and attend ID camps and work to make connections to colleges they would like to attend.
Also VRSC isn't an outlier. Head to a major European youth academy and you'll find a bar and restaurant on site, RSC Anderlect, Ajax, La Fabrica building. Weird teetotalers in Loudoun.
If someone has a private field, perhaps indoors like Michael & Sons, they should charge a low rate for the field while getting money back from the parents by operating this bar. They can decide which clubs get access based on the sales. The Zone having an attached bar was brilliant.

The amount of 4th/5th team parents from LS and Valor I know that regularly bring up and shit on VRSC is hilarious and cringe.
