Entirely possible. But 2019 was four years ago. I can see the point of view of the family if they have done everything they feel they can to help her and aren't going to do any more. From the little I have read/seen she is either suffering from a horrific mental illness or she is an evil person. They may think prison isn't a bad place for her to be at this point.
Uh, no. The father who got her off in 2019 offered to be her pretrial custodian! They are narcs who may well have abused or enabled abuse of her as a kid, so she thinks it's "normal." 2019 was a missed opportunity. Could have been compelled to get treatment by the court.

The family seems more focused on their reputation than their child getting HELP and their grandchildren being safe. Pretrial detention!

He personally got her conviction thrown out on appeal in 2019.
The PR spin that her family tried and tried to get her help and are glad she is in custody is BS. In 2019 she could have received court mandated treatment, incarceration and possible placement on a registry. Family literally personally had the conviction reversed. Their actions suggest, rather, narcissism and possible abuse of E that lead to another round of multigenerational abuse. Even now her father offered to be her custodian. SICK, and it did not start with her in all likelihood.

Her father agreed to be her custodian if the court gave her in-home detention while waiting for her trial. Doesn't sound like they have given up on her.

The Daily Mail article refers to her as a socialite. Is she really? Yes she’s from a very prominent family but she doesn’t really come across as a socialite.

Most public defenders won't put up much of defense and are there to hold the defendants hand while they plead guilty. Many public defenders are also woke, so they may not have much sympathy for an affluent white Disney princess defendant.
The point of everyone having robust legal defense is not that the individual deserves it, it’s that the health and fairness of the judicial system depends on it.
When you commit certain types of crimes, you should be put away for life. Period. Fancy legal teams should not be able tp get you off looking at O.J. Simpson's team. How do they live with themselves?
