All this stuff was swept under the rug for yesrs and years, and now a bunch of billionaires just say, "Woops. Regret that email" and go back to the indulgent lives.
Meanwhile, other people spend years in jail and shunned by jobs and society for much smaller infractions than child rape.
The reason these creepy men felt they could get away with something so risky and 'edgy' is that they felt untouchable. And they were right.

That’s doesn’t mean in any way shape or form that many of the claims aren’t true.
You’d really have to be in deep denial to not acknowledge that there was trafficking of children and that trafficking involved many powerful people, Trump included.
Said this to DH when we were driving home a bit ago - yes, some of these claims are probably suspect. But the emails, don't think so.
