In Ukraine, you are free to attend synagogues, mosques, buddhist shrines, catholic churches and so on.

But in Russian-occupied Ukraine, the Russians outright ban against Catholics and Protestants and Greek Orthodox and other churches.

Just wait until all of the Christian conservatives who are fine with Putin find out that Putin would ban them. Ruh-roh.

People like to talk about money, but the money isn't the limiting factor. There just isn't enough hardware to spare anymore. The cupboards are getting bare in NATO land.
"DEPLETED MILITARY STOCKS
The stocks of Germany's armed forces, already run down by decades of underinvestment, have been further depleted by arms supplies to Kyiv.
So far, Berlin has donated three Patriot air defence units to Kyiv, more than any other country, bringing down the number of Patriot systems in Germany to nine."

It was comical when NATO gave away all their artillery shells, but how do they plan on fighting Russia once they've given away all their Air-Defense? Are they really going all in here?

Oh geee I wonder what they were doing with their money that they should have spent on national defense this whole time?

No worries!! The stupid Americans will pay for our defense while we fund exceptional social programs and benefits while flooding our country with turd worlders

"Furthermore, at the Madrid Summit in June 2022, NATO Heads of State and Government adopted the NATO 2022 Strategic Concept, the Alliance’s core policy document, which sets NATO’s strategic direction for the coming years. For the first time, the Strategic Concept mentions the importance of the Indo-Pacific, noting that “developments in that region can directly affect Euro-Atlantic security”. The 2022 Strategic Concept also states that “NATO will strengthen dialogue and cooperation with new and existing partners in the Indo-Pacific to tackle cross-regional challenges and shared security interests”."

China certainly views NATO's sudden interest in the Pacific as a threat. Can you really blame them?

NATO isn't the threat. China is the threat. They are threatening to violently invade Taiwan which would severely disrupt global supply of semiconductor chips and other things. China could just leave Taiwan alone and there would be no problem. NATO isn't forcing China to do anything. But if China acts, it will force other countries to respond.

Ridiculous. Putin isn't just killing Jews in Ukraine, he's killing Christians and others too. Putin isn't just kidnapping Jewish kids in Ukraine, he's kidnapping other kids as well. Putin isn't just destroying Jewish homes, schools and hospitals in Ukraine, he's destroying everybody else's too.

Mmmm. Russia is still on track to lose soldiers at a rate of a Combined Arms Army a month.

"Russian forces have lost over 1,000 soldiers killed and wounded, as well as 13 tanks, 36 armoured combat vehicles and 44 artillery systems over the past 24 hours."
https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2024/07/16/7465874/

Rising inflation rate.

"The annual Russian inflation rate for June was 8.59%, up from 8.30% the previous month."
"Prices for key food items in Russia have increased dramatically—vegetables cost 19% more than this point in 2023, and the price of potatoes rose by almost 34% from the preceding month. The cost of fuel has also risen steadily over recent weeks."
https://kyivindependent.com/russia-faces-6th-straight-month-of-price-growth-bloomberg-reports/

Tougher to buy a home.

"On July 1, Russia halted its preferential mortgage program after awarding loans to millions of people at interest rates of up to 8% — half the Central Bank’s current base rate."
https://en.thebell.io/russia-ends-subsidized-mortgages-leaving-a-housing-bubble-and-inequality-behind/

Flipping the bird at the siloviki.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed a bill that raises income taxes for the rich"
https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20240712-russia-increases-income-taxes-for-the-wealthy-to-help-fund-ukraine-offensive

As Russia dumps Rubles into China, India is dumping Rupees into Russia.

"India runs a huge trade deficit with Russia — in 2023-24, trade between the two countries touched $65 billion, of which India’s exports were just $4 billion and imports $61.4 billion."
https://www.financialexpress.com/policy/economy-trade-deficit-with-russia-india-frames-multi-pronged-strategy-3554595/

And a short labor force.

"The defense sector is short of about 160,000 specialists, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said last month – and this is despite 500,000 workers switching from the civilian sector to defense-related firms over the last 18 months."
"The Labor Ministry predicts that, by 2030, Russia will be lacking 2.4 million workers."
"migration in 2023 was at its lowest level since pandemic-hit 2020."
https://en.thebell.io/russias-acute-labor-shortage/

I think Ukraine is still on track in 11 months to have the last laugh?

The reality is that this is going to be a long war unfortunately.

Russians did well investing in Republicans. Democrats are idiots and put up a deeply unpopular geriatric who obviously shouldn't be in a position to choose lunch as their candidate for the presidency.

Meanwhile, Trump obviously has a financial dependency on Russians. And JD Vance is a grifter. Game recognizes game.

The idiocy and cynicism of Democrats are what's going to cost Ukrainians dearly. Choosing Biden as the Democratic nominee is going to be catastrophic - not just for Ukraine - but for the entire planet.
