My fall bday 2011 will be a 9th grader next fall, not a sophomore.
You keep trying though, you’ll get it eventually!
So you're saying that your kid was born between 9/1-11/30 (fall) and is a 2011 in 8th grade now but will be 9th grade next fall. On average 8th grade students right now would be 2011 9/1 to 2012 9/1. This would make your kid one of the oldest in their grade.
So it would look like this next fall when SY starts. Junior and Senior are both 2008 because this age group is combined.

It's funny that he said it was so easy and then butchered it and called everyone else dumb for pointing out his errors.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Fall 2026 Grade matrix with dumb july 31 date that doesnt matter.

Adding grade in school makes this so much easier to understand.
I do agree the Jul 31 date isn't needed. Why add it if players can play up? Seems odd.
Except this is butchered bc it lists 9th and freshman as two separate grades. lol. U15 Aug 2011-July 2012 will be freshman (mostly) next fall.

This seems off by one grade level unless everyone was held back. I guess this is the problem with mapping birth dates to something. Why not just use the birth date?
I think it depends on if you're looking at it from a BY or SY (this fall) lense
