Republicans believe the accusations against Trump are made up and unverified. But for Trump, they are rallying around him because they all feel victimized by Democratic plots. It is appalling what's happened to the Republican Party. But you can see with Mike Johnson and John Thune that their loyalty is to Trump above all else - laws, victims, the country. I don't know how this country moves on after this. With Republicans in power, there's no recourse for justice. Dangerous times.
