I remember Dan Ariely because I really liked one of his books in the early 2000s and was surprised when he was later accused of fabricating data in his studies. I just looked up an article* on those controversies, and it randomly mentioned that Ariely had “tea with Prince Andrew.” Because, of course he did.
I think one of the other posters makes a good point about not getting distracted by the smaller fish in the pond and staying focused on the political decision makers who deserve consequences for their bad acts. But I can’t help but be fascinated by the way that these guys (and some women) all knew one another and supported one another and gave each other professional boosts.
