NATO would just provoke another conflict in a former Soviet state. Run a color revolution, fund some terrorists, etc.. The only reason NATO exists post 91 is to stir up trouble on Russia's doorstep.

State of morale check. Even Ukrainians fighting don't want to remain in Ukraine any longer. The very concept of the nation is basically dead. Ukrainians will either become "Europeans" or Russians when this is all done.

Here's the bottom line: Russia has hit similar targets many times before, to include schools and other hospitals. Maybe not intentionally, but then some of their missiles and weaponry are imprecise and have a non-zero fail rate. Trying to stick your head in the sand to deny and deflect serves nobody. There were numerous other Russian cruise missiles hitting targets around Kyiv when the explosion affecting the hospital happened. There was definitely a cruise missile (identifiable because it was jet powered, you could see the intake and hear the distinctive engine noise) that was captured on video when it happened. Ukraine would not be using cruise missiles for anti-aircraft. Cruise missiles are for long range attacks. Sure, it's possible that there could have also been debris from an antiair rocket involved, but again, there would be no antiair rockets being launched if there weren't a dangerous Russian air attack already happening.

Sorry, it wasn't an AIM-120 either. The missile that hit clearly showed an intake for a turbojet. AIM-120 has a solid-fuel rocket motor, no air intake for a turbojet.

It was definitely a Russian cruise missile.

The AIM 120 was fired at that cruise missile to stop it. Unfortunately it looks like it failed to neutralize which lead to the cruise missile destroying the building to the right of the one which got the impact from the 120.

Never would have happened in the first place if Russians hadn't been firing cruise missiles at or over residential areas.

I’m not disagreeing with you. This is russias fault. However in this particular instance, they were not targeting the hospital. Unfortunately it was damaged by the intercepting missile.
