I think you missed the point there.
It looked to me like the point was, “Take care of yourself” by hiring others to do something you could do yourself. Which, again, is something that most women cannot afford to do. (Sounds pretty similar to Rachel Hollis explaining “the woman who cleans her toilets”.) Surprisingly, I rarely see any comments to Jen about how completely unrelatable her lifestyle has become. Most comments are like, “Yes girrrrrrrlllll, swipe that card!!!”. Even her fan base has changed since 7.
Which is essentially flaunting her wealth like the other person said. Yeah. Too bad calling her out on it unleashes the overzealous fans. Someone made a criticism of her the other day along the lines of “imagine being rich” or some such and the fans came out in droves to defend Jen. Got kinda heated and hateful. She could be a platform for good, but she’s just another basic influencer… and the worship of her is strong.
Jen 10 years ago: rants about how “rich” people in America are - and how they won’t fix the potholes in their parking lot because that money is better served feeding the homeless and clothing the orphans.
Jen today: Thank God I can just pay someone to decorate for Christmas for me. I’m just so exhausted from all of my vacations. (Narrator: “As the world burns around her.”)
It’s gross how far she’s fallen. It’s even more gross how many of her “fans” have fallen with her. Let’s all worship at the feet of materialism and greed - AT CHRISTMAS.
