For LACs, it's probably Williams.
For university environments, I'll join the chorus on UC Santa Cruz. Love the redwoods.
Seriously for the LAC. Williams is just in such a gorgeous location. If the population was more 8-10k it’d be the top of DC’s list

Tennessee, Kentucky, & Texas A&M aren’t anything to get excited about. Arkansas is nice. Bama, Auburn, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia, Oklahoma are very nice. Haven’t seen the rest.
Anonymous wrote:Kenyon College in Ohio. Probably a top 5 most beautiful campus, but given its remoteness, it might not provide as good an all-around experience as some other great campuses. It is top notch, though

Except it's in Missouri
So what? Why do you hate America so much?
America is amazing! Missouri is not.
St. Louis is blue. Missouri could easily go blue. Maybe you post like this to discourage Democrats from moving to Missouri and casting votes in Missouri.
That’s like saying cities in TX are blue
Texas could easily go blue. The people telling liberal and progressive students to avoid Texas are either foolish or Republicans.

Also Sewanee.

It must be because UVA is one of the most unattractive campuses I’ve ever seen. I just don’t get the love for that one. Good school, but definitely not a beautiful campus.
If you just drive through UVA, it doesn't give the best impression. You have to walk around the Lawn area.
I was at UVA this week for orientation. Campus is beautiful.
My kid (OOS) adored UVA campus, and I thought it was quite beautiful. I see people on DCUM disparaging UVA; I can’t wrap my head around that.
It's bitterness because it is so difficult now to get into; it's relatively small compared to other flagships; and some parents (like us) are sad their kid isn't even a contender so there's no point in even applying. And sometimes the nasty comments are from students at rival schools: VT and UMD
And vice-versa.
Rarely, IMHE. It's the underdog that has to bite.
