If theyv get reported, all of next year. And FCV could be sanctioned by USSF as well.

Really people?

You guys are a pathetic bunch.

Do you really think Drake would go for that?

Just stop. Sound like a bunch of sore losers.

Drake is a Scout not USSF.

True. Just a scout now.

She is what her kid needs her to be.

I'm sorry, but you sound like an amateur. This is a USSF rule and has been around in the DA long before FCV joined it. The rules are there for a reason: to encourage scouting beyond those already in the system and to prevent poaching. If a player really wants to switch, they either have to get permission or wait until the season is over.

You dont say.. but heres a clue for ya...

USSF is NOT EVERRrrr going to sanction a kid for wanting to switch teams and trying out elsewhere without permission.

Although to be honest, I'm surprised at who they offered for but glad they took the players they did. It's addition by subtraction as far as I'm concerned.

I wouldn't be surprised to see MU bring the issue to USSF considering that they have nothing to lose to do so.

They could. They could be suspended, they could be held out of any games against Spirit. FCV could end up with sanctions for poaching. Spirit/MU knows who they did or did not give permission to attend ID sessions or to talk with other DA's.

You mean the same FCV that had a WSVA/MU player come out to practice / tryout with them recently? Pot calling the kettle black. Anyhow - this is allowed as long as the player gets the ok from their current coach/club. I doubt that happens often, but there is an "allowed" way to do this. What I find really funny is the misalignment of payment schedule with actual off-season / transfer schedule. Would be so easy to audit and regulate, if anyone actually cared.

FCV parents would not dare ask for permission for risk of retribution. The allowed way is not practical during regular ID Session period.

Post 06/17/2019 16:04     Subject: Re:Metro United

The rules do not prevent going to other Academy ID sessions: never have and never will. If this isn’t the case, every single committed MU player who was previously on Spirit would be prohibited from being rostered at MU. You know because the TD said they didn’t have permission to tryout at other Academies ...

SPIRIT TD told FCV TD that NO Spirit players have been given permission to tryout and that no offers should be given by their club. You know, the SPIRIT TD AND FCV TD work together at Spirit...so.....
