Probably some broken analogies there. Islam has no central leadership, and different factions define it however they please mixing in tribal beliefs and other non-Islamic teachings, whereas the GOP has central leadership in the RNC and its state/local groups, and it decides and defines what the party platform is and therefore can indeed make a global statement.


The RNC has as much to do with white supremacist fringe groups as the DNC. Why don't you call for both organizations to issue statements?

That there was no one behind him? So what? The folks who had their four year old gunned down in a car in LA years ago picked up their rental and simply made a wrong turn. Part of the street was empty, but there were gang members in front of them, that chose to open fire when they turned around. The whole street doesn't need to be lined with violent mobs to be dangerous.


And you think that poor couple was LESS likely to have been gunned down if they drove straight at the gang members?



I think when those with intent to harm have guns, the situation becomes more dire. But yes, if that couple were NOT in a cul-de-sac as they were, they could have used their vehicle to their advantage. It's hard to hit a moving target, even with a gun.
