Yes, I especially love how they're now suggesting he was like OJ doing his own investigation to try to catch the "real killer".

Interesting. More like your ponzu scheme is unraveling and those whose contracts were to defend us spent our capital making cash.

Keep pulling that piece of yarn.

I see you.

I don't know what you're talking about.

DP - isn't ponzu an asian sauce?

Correct! Maybe PP is trying to say something about a contract to buy lots of Asian dipping sauce? But then there's the yarn unraveling part which doesn't fit. PP must be listening to too much Limbaugh because the analogy lacked enough ballast to keep it grounded.

It wasn't WaPo that said that, it was WaPo that reported it.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/category-5-hurricane-white-house-under-siege-by-trump-jrs-russia-revelations/2017/07/11/1e091478-664d-11e7-8eb5-cbccc2e7bfbf_story.html?utm_term=.c45d968629ca

Even supporters of Trump Jr. who believe he faces no legal repercussions privately acknowledged Tuesday that the story is a public relations disaster — for him as well as for the White House. One outside ally called it a “Category 5 hurricane,” while an outside adviser said a CNN graphic charting connections between the Trump team and Russians resembled the plot of the fictional Netflix series “House of Cards.”

Obama administration setting up his political opponent during a campaign would be a serious federal crime.

The FBI is independent of the WH administration. Trump doesn't understand this, but most Americans do. Don't you?

FBI is not above the law. They are not in the business of setting people up.

You're fucking delusional. There is NO EVIDENCE of the Obama admin setting anyone up.

Oh poor wittle Donald Junior. He's incapable of acting like an ethical grown up and it's all Obama's doing! Must be rough to have the moral compass of a five-year-old.

So that makes it okay for Uday to have met with her and then conveniently omitted any mention of it?

Who's Uday? Do you need to check your auto-correct, or can you just not type?

Yeah, we're talking about DJT Jr. You're talking about someone else, or else you're trying to be cute. Step away from Twitter, return to the real world, then post, please.

It is common parlance here (and elsewhere) for some people to refer to Donald Trump's children by the names of Sadam Hussein's children.

Sure, I see it a lot on Twitter. DCUM is not Twitter. We attempt to stick to the real world, in general.

Multiple people in this thread alone, including I believe Jeff, have referred to Don Jr as Uday. Perhaps do a search of "Uday" here on DCUM and peruse the results and get back to us.

You prefer not to stick to the real world? You prefer the Twitterverse?

For what it's worth, while I am the one who has been going back and forth with you, I am not the one who you originally quoted who referred to him as Uday. I don't do that.

And my personal preference is to get information and discussion from multiple sources.

Trump loves giving people nasty nicknames. What's wrong with doing the same to that clan?

I believe entrapment has a very specific set of elements that have to occur for it to be the case, it can't just necessarily be anything deemed a "setup". But yes I believe the Trump camp will eventually get to that point, since they've few other legs to stand on anymore to argue this isn't collusion or conspiracy.

Hmm. Do you really think so? Then why did DJT Jr deny it for almost a year?
Yes, this is what I love. Junior has been lying for awhile about the nature of the meeting but now he's saying he knew what she was peddling and he was enthusiastic about getting it but it turned out to be useless information - and he really thinks that we'll just believe him that nothing happened after he has lied about the purpose for the meeting?! That's just hilarious!

There's a reason that John Oliver calls this Stupid Watergate!
