Sounds like Trig has been Trig. Unvarnished, this is who I am take it or leave it. Lots of crazy stories coming out of Military Road. I don't have direct knowledge, so won't pass along the stories. I can only say I know of a long-time laxer who just up and quit a few weeks into off-season training.

There is no listing on the SJC athletic program page for a boys varsity lacrosse coach. If Trig is head coach, why isn't his name listed like the coaches for other sports?

He is definitely their coach. I saw him at a summer tourament. In prime form. Also winning. Maybe SJC is just trying a stealth approach? Or maybe some of that Under Armour money needs to be spent on a website pro?

I know Landon hosts a tournament in November. I believe Gonzaga, Prep, Paul VI and Stephens are slated to play in it this Fall. I'm pretty sure Hill Academy came down last year too.

Are any IAC lacrosse teams playing November tournaments? If so, which schools and which tournaments?

Not really. The best players at Bullis were not playing for Performance and will not be playing for DC Express.

Things could changes, but for now, it's bottom of the barrel talent for DC Express (except for possibly their 2021 team).

DC Express is Churchill, Whitman and Bullis focused.

Tell me, what do schools like Landon and Gonzaga do to remain top-ranked in lacrosse? How does the recruiting work? Do LAX players get extra academic support?

Happy to see a PUBLIC high school in NJ ranked above Bullis & Prep.

what are you saying? Which grades? If its for HS, that means they are the kids that could not make MADlax, Blackwolf, Crabs or FCA.

I guess everyone needs to wait for roster lists before deciding whether DC Express is anything more than Performance, repackaged.

It actually could be a kid who never tried out for any of those teams.
