VDA, Arlington, who would the 3rd strong ECNL team left? Brave? When were they ever strong?? And I think you're being a little generous calling McLean strong...

Bethesda

Brave is to DMV ECNL what TSJ is to DC GA.

Not at all. In its second (and final) year, Brave was the 9th strongest club in the MA (of 13), and sent 2 of their 6 teams to champions league. But don't let the facts get in the way of your narrative...

Once upon a time BRYC and McLean girls were the dominant girls clubs in the region. The mighty have fallen.

Anonymous wrote:From what have heard, acceptances came out weeks ago. The only thing missing is their announcements on whether to stay ECNL as well, or not. If they are not making the announcements it is because they don’t want to let the kids know what league they are trying out for. I don’t know their motivation for the delay on announcement, but you can bet it is to retain membership and not because it is in the kids’ best interest to know what league they are trying out for. ID season is stressful enough on kids without clubs making it worse for them whatever reason.

The contract is bound, get the Metamucil to get the information flowing again

Not that I put it past any soccer club in the area but that will definitely hurt them in the end. If their going MLSNext and GA and they know it, they need to go public with it asap

You talk too much and know nothing. Ever heard of a (legally bound) contract?

Mclean doesn't have an ECNL team

Nor did they before. Shared it with two other clubs. Now they have two more revenue streams. Missing the trees from the forest. This has nothing to do with the girls nor the competition

Once upon a time, wasn't McLean ECNL by themselves?
