We had a special education opening last year and it was covered by subs the last 2.5 months of school.

I believe with counselors the other counselors take on the case load, meaning even more burnout for the remaining counselor.
+1, our school was supposed to have two counselor last year, and they only had one so that one counselor did all the work resulting in us almost never having lessons for the entirety of the year.
Good. Their whole group lessons usually suck anyway.
