Vanderbilt has Greeks, but I wouldn’t say it’s “heavily” (it’s less than 1/4 I think) and the admin has been taking subtle and not so subtle steps to marginalize them. Established residential colleges etc.

That's nonsense. I have a kid at Vanderbilt. Greek life these days is a pretty small part of campus life. It's not remotely comparable to Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia etc.

I mean, it's a verifiable fact that Vandy has the highest Greek participation in the SEC. You can argue about the effect that has on the social life on campus, but it's a fact.

Interesting list. Your DC should consider where they want to live post-grad because degrees from these schools will be highly regarded within their immediate community. I know that from my own experience living in San Diego (USD), LA (Loyola Marymount) and Denver (UD).
