And spending 100,000 monthly in rent. These two are out of control. No wonder they can't make a marriage work.
Eh, what do you expect him to do, rent out a nice 2 bedroom condo in Silver Lake? He rented a place close to where his kids are, which makes sense since he shares custody. He's a famous movie star with a bunch of money, it is not "out of control" that he is renting a mansion in Brentwood close to where his ex-wife lives so the kids can go back and forth easily. It's normal for them.
Give me a break. No, it's not normal. They have a 38,000 square foot home in which to isolate thenselves, ifveachvwants to live apart. Their kids are being treated like puppets being pulled every which way emotionally. It's terrible parenting.

That's not wrong. At least the fault would be squarely on him vs. everyone talking about how insufferable she is and who can blame him.
Well since she can't sing, don't think that will be an option for her. People go to her shows for the fun theatrics, expensive sets, and elaborate dance choreography not the quality of her music. But middle-aged women performers without serious talent don't have much of an audience. She's not Madonna, who is unique in being able to continue to draw.
This is a tough time for her. Even with an incredible body and reasonably good dance talent, hard to see how she pivots from here. The best work ethic in the world won't compensate for mediocre talent plus sexism and ageism in a very harsh industry. I agree with the PP who said she should stop making terrible movies though. Maybe just do some judicious high-end glamour endorsements and work on adjusting to a quieter life. Her kids have very few years left at home. I'd focus on them while mulling over what could come next.
Maybe a prestige tv series. Other middle-aged actresses like Jen Aniston, Reese W, Kerry W and, yes, Jen G made positive transitions in this way.
True, but JLo doesn't appear to want to transition. A lot of immaturity is continually on display.
Jlo is not a good actress. She was perfect for Selena, but she’s not a good actress and therefore wasn’t able to transition beyond rom coms. Hollywood is cruel to women this way. But there will be no prestige tv series for her, because she can’t progress beyond the 20/30 something romcom. Even her last movie with Owen Wilson was the same rom com premise- how many roles like that exist for 50 somethings?

J Lo counts her sugar intake daily and famously doesn’t drink , smoke cigarettes, or tip wait staff well but Ben is a Dunkin Donuts eating, cigarette smoking , drinker / gambler and a very generous tipper . Ben doesn’t care about the MET Ball. His buddies recently booed Kim Kardashian during the televised Tom Brady roast . They would jeer and boo J Lo as well. Any type of fame whoring is looked down by boorish Boston frat boy types like Tom Brady so Ben looks like a laughing stock for going to fashionista events with J Lo
Tom Brady is from California, genius.
+1. “Boorish Boston” and “frat boy” are contradictory statements. Ben affleck isn’t a frat boy, he’s more like his good will hunting, poor Boston, sloppy and constant drunk persona. A Cambridge frat boy is something else. Sure, Tom Brady may be your t25 frat boy turned Goldman banker bro. Tom Brady matured into one of the most disciplined people alive. Not Ben affleck. Tom Brady actually has more in common with Jlo than he does with Ben affleck, except that Tom Brady doesn’t seem as delusional or narcissistic as Jlo.
Ben Affleck's mother comes from money. He was never poor.

I disagree. Affleck's kids probably are not use to the level of diva Lopez brought to the relationship. They can still be friends with the kids, but a break from that drama is not a bad thing for anyone.
Well then, Mr. And Mrs. Affleck should have considered that issue prior to their 2 marriages and very much not private honeymoon!

Not sure when this was shot, but this is not a happy couple in a honeymoon phase.

What a selfish prick. He just had to make this marriage happen, meld all the kids, get enmeshed again, and then Peace Out and hope it all sort of falls apart with him on the sidelines, with his A-List, Respected in Hollywood Circles mojo intact. He's distanced himself from the wife he chose to marey two years ago while engaging with the other wife he dumped out of prior disillusionment.
I don't think this had a whole lot of impact on his children, to be honest, and I don't think you can blame any impact on J. Lo's children on him. They have two parents who likely make joint decisions about their well being.
Was saying he insisted on proposing, blended their families, which did affect the kids, and then he said, Oops, Can we just undo this quickly. No blame at all belongs on those poor kids.
I agree. This was irresponsible of them to do to the kids. Poor JLo's kids already went through this with Arod's kids.
