Economy will be roaring. Middle East will be forgotten. And the Republicans will still be pushing a national abortion ban.
Totally agree. Democratic landslide.
I hope you're right about a roaring economy and leave in the middle east. It seems unlikely, though, because we are sending money to both Palestine and Israel. Normally, if you fund both sides, it prolongs a war.
If people think voting for the GOP - likely Trump or not voting at all and by default enabling Trump to win - we won’t be going to get peace. Not in the Middle East, not in the United States, not anywhere. It we will be in a full-on fascistic state where people will be barred from basic civil rights because they are Muslim or gay or a woman (not that these aren’t in jeopardy already).
All these people who hate Israel, who deny it the right to protect itself from offensives from neighbors and terrorists, and want to “show Biden” for having the basic morality to support Israelis in the wake of the heinous attack of October 7 when so many were completely SILENT.
You’re biting your nose to spite your face.

Stop trying to pretend you have a choice. If Trump becomes the Republican candidate there is no debate.
Again. That’s in a year. Spend this year making Biden a great candidate.
He already is.

90% of that list is pork. The rest is fluff.
Eyeroll. Nothing is ever enough.
Biden saved the economy from cratering post-Covid and reengaged with the world after four years of a crazy-wanna-be-autocrat.
it's not pork or fluff, it's governing. You probably aren't familiar with that. Hint: It doesn't involve inciting riots or calling Nazis "good people."

+1
I really disappointed in so many of you who probably consider yourselves smart and savvy people. Instead of evaluating Biden’s stable leadership, you’re blindly regurgitating conservative talking points.

This doesn’t read to me as “great”. I don’t think he’s been a disastrous president but “not a disaster” doesn’t get my vote when there’s a serious moral issue— the death of 3000 Palestinian children and the extraordinary callousness with which American Citizens in Gaza have been treated— on his hands.

You’re really close to getting it.
Instead of saying “I don’t like Biden’s Mideast policy so I’m voting for the Republicans” imagine looking at it as “Republicans are threatening to deport Palestinians but Democrats are sending weapons to kill them right now.”
I don’t think people are going to vote Republican. I think they’re going to stay home.
Here’s the moment for the Democratic Party to draw a clear distinction between themselves and the Republicans. You obviously think this draft legislation does that, but it doesn’t, because the Democrats are still arming the side that has killed 3000+ children and resisted calls for respite.
Big democratic thinkers should now be looking for a positive message to send the voters about why they’re really worth voting for, not trying to scare people with a Republican proposal that can’t pass.
Meanwhile, several Jewish posters in another thread are refusing to vote for Biden because the Democratic Party isn’t sufficiently pro-Israel.
People have lost their ever loving minds.
Yup.
Let's just support the Evangelical party that wants Jews to burn in The Rapture, and in the meantime taking away women's rights, the right to vote and other rights in the name of Jesus Christ.
There aren't enoughemojis.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Trump at least you know what you are getting
Biden touts his Irish credentials but NO Irishman would ever be so brazenly pro Israel
Like this is deep in Irish culture to support Palestine
Biden isn’t being truthful
In Trump you are getting a criminal who tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
Also, he couldn't find Israel on a map.

I also don’t agree with anything he has done…Ukraine, Israel etc. I also hate that he is still against expanding the size of the Supreme Court.
You guys get that you’re not remotely believable with this stuff, right? Ping ponging from RFK to DeSantis (!) to Phillips, whose first campaign event went tragically according to the Washington Post. But sure sure. You’re all Democrats who just so happen not to care about any policies that will die if a Republican gets into office.
This was literally my first post on this thread and I am a registered democrat for many years. I think there is something cognitively wrong with Biden and don't think he was particularly bright to begin with. I morally cannot vote for someone who I don't think is physically able to do the job. I don't want some random person running the show behind the scenes so the democrats need to put up something else or they are going to lose. Gavin Newsom would be my first voice but don't see that being an option.
Newsom is an option if you want to lose worse than Mondale did.
Please try to deal in reality. It will be Trump v Biden, which means you vote Biden or you vote for insanity.
