It's true, it's on his Linked In!

His history as a restauranteur is that he owned a fast food franchise in the 70s and 80s, then he worked for a supplier and a gym, and then he worked in "marketing and sales" for a restaurant group. He didn't actually own a nice restaurant, it was "Mr. Quick" or something like that. He's so fake, fake, fake.

I feel bad for all these women who think he's super wealthy -- according to this random internet article, his net worth is $1.5 Million. I'm half his age and my net worth is more than that!!

He is not fake. The show spins people’s reality, to up the “entertainment value.”

I definitely did in the beginning. I thought the whole show and premise was awful. I kinda still do. But I’ve seen him on some other talk shows and actually really like how he comes across. And he is handsome for his age. He does seem very emotional and that can sometimes be unattractive in a man. I guess we want men to be tough and strong ?

Speak for yourself!

I Think men who can express their emotions are mature and evolved.

I'm not really drawn to any particular member of this cast for GB. The reality is that they function best as an ensemble. It's the dynamic between them that makes them so fun to watch.

I don't think he comes across as super wealthy just comfortable, which he is. A Leslie, certainly, would enjoy a nice life with him.

Now that we know he wasn't an uber successful guy, but had relatively modest jobs, makes me think he's quite a good fit for Leslie after all. Not at all out of her league, as some were saying.

You know what I think? Gerry was a slightly dorky guy married to his HS sweetheart for the bulk of his life. I'm sure he loved her dearly, but this is his one and only chance to play the field and feel desirable to a group of hot women for the first time one his life. He got swept up in it and made some mistakes. I think he's probably a pretty nice guy who never imagined in his wildest dreams he could pull a Faith or a Leslie. But at least he's giving some thought to compatibility despite the headiness of it all.

Faith to People, feels pretty sure it was distance plus hobbies. But she doubled down on not moving and concedes it was for the best. So why go on the show if you're intent on staying in rural WA?

"As she expressed on the show, Faith thinks her and Gerry’s contrasting lifestyles — not to mention the fact they live in different states — played a role in the breakup.

“He never brought that up, but I had felt that that might've been,” Faith says. “I remember that night thinking, ‘Oh, should I have done that?’ But, I wouldn't have been being honest had I not said that. He needed to know that because I'm just not the type of person that can see my kids a couple of times a year.”

The high school teacher also says she loves to be “outside more than in.”

“The other part of it is, I love to camp and hike and backpack and be on my horses,” she continues. “I'd never played pickleball before. I mean, there's a million reasons that he might've gone, ‘Ah. This isn't really a great fit,’ even though we had a strong connection. As hard as it is for me to take, I feel like it was the best decision that he put me out when he did.”

I think he's midwestern nice, which is a bit surface.
