Also need to go to a private school and practice with certain people around the DMV so your daughter is a known commodity. It all builds from there and these are the girls that get into the top events which further elevates their status. The reason it may feel rigged is because the people that know the blueprint don't share it. Why would they? When you do learn it, it's too late. These moves are being done as early as 5th/6th grade so parents can position their kids into the right schools and lacrosse programs.
Can you explain? Who are the results in earlier years supposed to matter to?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anyone else go through moments of excitement about next fall to down in the dumps because you feel like this is all rigged and its all about club brand or who knows who?
The frustrating part for me is it seems like over the last 7 years of playing club, no actual game results or how they played matter at all. Seems its either about what you do from this point through summer or what all star events you happen to get invited to
Correct. What you did grades 2-9 don’t mean anything. Why should they?
Those years mean a lot, but you wouldn't understand any of that. A glaring example of everything wrong with lacrosse in the DMV

Club brand and connections have a ton to do with it. If Capital Blue isn't an option then you have sacrifice and look north.
