Not really. They only accepted 10% of EA applicants.
Rejected with 3.98 uw and 4.65 w GPA. Test optional. Wrote all essays. Showed lots of interest-- interview, in person info session, online info session, student panel. UGH!! What a colossal waste of time. Could have been using that time to write essays and study for classes.

Tulane is a black box for their admissions-seeing some really high stat kids getting in (and congrats!) so SMH at how the kid we know got in with a low GPA (think 3.3 max) and nothing particular EC wise. Guess some cash behind the scenes came into play.

My accepted DC had 3.97 uw, 4.7 w and 32 ACT. Average EC’s and a really creative essay. Got some merit and honors college.

Tulane tonight EA. Surprised and happy. Thought DC had a chance, but seemed to be tough this year so was prepared for a deferral at best.
