But why are they even doing this boundary adjustment? I was at a swim meet this morning and the pool we were swimming against is located smack in the middle of the Annandale High School boundaries. It was the last home meet, so they honored the two seniors on the team. One graduated from Woodson High School and one from Lake Braddock. Most kids join the NVSL team closest to their house, so why is it that two kids on a team located near Annandale High School did not go there? Just get rid of all of the loopholes for kids to leave their zoned high school.

And, one school is already likely to be moved out. And, THRU has already moved some closer to Westfield out. What makes you think they will move out another school?

Everyone seems pretty unhappy about possible downhill effects from KAA, eg their kids being switched from one existing school to another.
I'm quite happy about the possible downhill effect of KAA making my child's school less overcrowded.
Hahaha. You just proved pp's point. Fine to move Other People's Kids around to improve your kid's situation but of course it doesn't even occur to you that your precious Larlo might be moved elsewhere to benefit someone else.
Anything could happen. We all know FCPS and SB have priorities and motivations that often don't match with what families want.
Agree.
And it seems highly likely that some Chantilly kids get moved to fill seats elsewhere.

$hitty hypocrites want boundary moves that hurt other people’s kids. I sincerely hope your kids get moved.
She's probably the Chantilly parent who was screeching a few pages back that it was simply inconceivable that the Chantilly school, Poplar Tree, right next to Westfield's boundary could be moved to Westfield to fill 1000 empty seats.
