Jen is due for a Rachel or Dave Hollis level meltdown.

I’ve been waiting for it as the pressures of not being semi famous and semi rich anymore hit her in the face.

There was this scene once on the show “Parenthood” where the Mom does <something> and the adult daughter says (half-jokingly) “you know mom, its never too late to learn some parenting skills, you could read a book, take a class…..” it’s meant to be funny, but its what i thought of when i read Jen’s post about Remy not washing the dishes.

Jen’s most successful branding has been about being a “spicy mom”. Thus, Jen could have Jesus Christ himself in the home and she’d find a way to write 500 word essays about how much he sucks.

I didn’t know that the wedding anniversaries were so close. That’s got to suck. Especially with the mirror of her current relationship being so unfulfilling.

Again with Remy. Poor girl.

The fact that she's still going on about the torments of living with a "roommate" who is so annoying and bothersome makes me think that she doesn't read this thread.

The condemnation of how she treats her daughter on this thread is strong and constant. Why would she cointinue in this behavior if she knew we were on to her?

Tyler was spotted out this week at a Nashville escape room game thing with his friends and he was being chummy enough with the ladies to look like Jen does not even exist in his universe. That might be the reason she’s needing to figure out something different for just her and the kids this year.


Jen and Tyler are hosting an event together this weekend. Do you think their rider calls for one shared hotel room or do they each get their own? That’s a genuine question, not weird stalker snark. Are they brought in as a couple for these things or as two separate speakers? That might speak to whether or not they’re still coupled up or if it’s all for-show.

She should start over this Christmas. That could be a real gift to herself. Me-camp somewhere that she is likely to run into other solo holiday-ers. Or even create a holiday retreat for other middle-age singles avoiding big day sabotage. She could make money off it and be the center of attention and have a reason to plan a vacation and mine new material for social media content - all of her favorite things. But maybe also actually live a hallmark movie scene with a new first kiss and realize there is life after cheating-Brandon and indifferent/aloof-Tyler.

Why last Christmas was awful was likely because Brandon got remarried right before Christmas last year, in early December. Jen and Brandon’s wedding anniversary had been Christmas week for decades prior. The bigger issue is having been on a cruise ship w people so she should be waiting a period before seeing a newborn. Tdap is needed before newborns bc whooping cough (pertussis) gets spread to babies from unvaccinated adults who get it as just an annoying cough/cold.
