It’s weird to see the cruise be exactly how sad and lame in real life as I’ve been imaging it to be these past couple of months. The same sad performative “joy”, the bad and old decor, the small crew of “corn-eaters” in tow that Jen would never have anything to do with IRL, the security blanket family dragged along.

I bet the goodbye horrible too but we can’t see that.
