I mean, she is vile, don’t get me wrong, the gentleman was so measured, but clearly she was unhinged.
He was setting her up for this to happen and wanted his 5 minutes of fame which he got. There was no reason to record her. There was no reason to provoke her. She may have been raped or attacked in the past which caused her to panic. Both were wrong.
Really - that is your takeaway?
She wasn't near anyone in an open area. He pulled out his phone to yell at her and provke a reaction that he could post on social media.
This. And creepy that he had dog treats but no dog.
Here’s his explanation for why he was carrying dog treats.
“They were in a part of the park called the Ramble, where dogs are supposed to be on a leash, and Cooper said the dog was running loose and tearing through plants.
"I said to the young woman I said, 'Dogs in the ramble have to be on their leash at all times,'" Cooper said.
That's when he said he used treats to try and lure the dog away from some plant beds just before he began recording.
When the woman began to argue with him, Cooper started to record her on his phone, and that's when she called police.
"They don't like it when you feed their dog treats. And she didn't like that at all. And she immediately grabbed the dog as you can see from the video and started hauling it around by its collar," Cooper said.

Apparently he’s an avid birdwatcher and goes to that spot often. It seems like he’s encountered off-leash dogs there before and comes prepared with dog treats.

Him filming her and giving her dog treats is so weird. Why the f&ck is he carrying around dog treats if he does not have a dog? He wants to piss some people off?
She starts dragging the dog by the collar as a defiant act not to put the leash on which was sad.
Then she called the police and started talking about an African American man attacking her. Huh? Not only was he not attacking her but filming the whole thing.
Who starts filming someone because they don't comply with a request?
Very strange situation.
I guess you are not a black male? A few words from a white woman can get you killed. Even when you record the interaction there are people like you who thinks she is the victim. Weird.
You are so ridiculous.
NP. Not ridiculous. She attempted to weaponize her privilege by making a false report that a black man was threatening her.
She felt threatened.

UMM no. Her dog walker confirmed he walked the same dog for her TWO YEARS AGO.
Mental breakdown my butt. She deliberated decided to off-leash her dog in Central Park and when called on it - decided to both harass that person and get the police to do the same.
He was recording her and harassing her.
She is a racist and totally in the wrong. But I also think the man’s comments to her about hurting the dog and his calling her Karen in his post make him look less than perfect. BUT that’s peripheral - The video shows what black people still have to deal with.
Please highlight his comments “about hurting the dog”. And where he called her “Karen”. I’ve read and re-read his comments - as well as his sister’s post and his Facebook post and I see No such comments.
Then he calls the police like a normal adult and not taking the law into his own hands.
You mean a normal "white" adult. The rules aren't the same for black people. When the police are called, they die.

If you were single woman how would you feel? Also would you like a stranger or you just had an altercation with the offer your dog a treat or any stranger for that matter?

Recording someone isn't provocation or threatening.
And he didn't post the recording - so what 5 minutes of fame?
Just admit she was wrong and tried to get a bird watcher shot by the police for asking her to politely LEASH HER DOG.
Yes, it is provoking and setting someone up by recording them. You don't record people without permission.
