Elite teams and Elite talent are two different things. There is Elite talent all over the DC Metro area, where that talent has gelled and is used appropriately is a different thing entirely. This comes down to coaching. The fact that Landon is still in the mix, despite Bordley's retirement, is a testament to the new coaches. They are taking the the two more talented teams in Prep and Bullis and giving them fits. I would not be surprised at all to see Landon win the IAC tourney.

Gonzaga struggled to beat both O’Connell and St Johns in the past ten days, I’m really not convinced the Purple Eagles have improved much this season.
Beating a team in March is a heck of a lot easier than beating a team in May.
Interesting assessment. My take on the SJC game was that SJC played hard for the first quarter and part of the second but then they totally lost their stamina and caved. It was a palpable difference. I didn't see the O'Connell v Gonzaga game.
In fact, a lot of games are like that. It is the team that plays the most consistently throughout all four quarters that usually will win and in general Gonzaga is the team that maintains its consistency. The Prep game would be neck-in-neck because both teams would have incentive. Bullis would still lose to Gonzaga.

Destruction of property
Not a single lax player was involved in that egregious incident. It was the CREW team.
