Well, now is the time for Americans to stand up and denounce this event.
If you aren't opposed to it then you are part of the problem.
How do you want to be judged by your grandchildren?
I agree with you. I condemn this event. However, how many times did liberals say moderate Muslims did not have a responsibility to be vocal? I can't believe you typed the above with a straight face.
Probably some broken analogies there. Islam has no central leadership, and different factions define it however they please mixing in tribal beliefs and other non-Islamic teachings, whereas the GOP has central leadership in the RNC and its state/local groups, and it decides and defines what the party platform is and therefore can indeed make a global statement.
The RNC has as much to do with white supremacist fringe groups as the DNC. Why don't you call for both organizations to issue statements?
I am not pp, but this group literally advertised their presence as "Unite the right" and "alt-right." They are taking and using the "right" branch of our political system, IN YOUR NAME. What Trump and the GOP need to do is explicitly denounce them.
Say they do not want their support, at all.
Say they do not represent the GOP or Republicans or the Right.
Say they don't want their votes.
Explicitly say that these Nazis and white supremacists are wrong, amoral, terrorists, and are not welcome in their party, and that the values of the alt.right do not represent American values.
I am failing to understand why Trump and many Republicans find so hard about clearly and objectively denouncing groups operating IN THEIR NAME. If they don't want that support, then say it clearly and repeatedly. Why aren't they doing this?
Because they want the support of these heathens. The GOP is power and partisanship over country and integrity. The party has fallen and is pulling the country down with it. They don't denounce these groups unequivocally because they want these groups to keep voting for them. Period. Not more complicated than that.

In 2017, in our society in our country, this cannot happen to anyone. This is hate crime. DOJ had better step in. And if you aren't concerned or troubled that a 20 year old black man was beaten by white separatist already bearing those metal poles and using that language, then there is no hope for anyone having any protection whatsoever. If other people had not intervened I have no doubt they would have killed him.

Antifa are a political terrorist group also.
Anti-fascist fighters? They were your grand parents in WWII.
They were. However, with the proliferation of denying freedom of speech of the right, they arguably have become the fascists they so despise.

Yep, taking about whiny little bitches who have no idea what true injustice is.

Complete lunacy for anyone to have gone out to that event. You obviously can't count on McAuliffe to allow the cops to protect you. Sad.
You and your moron of a president should take some responsibility as well. Total free loader, always expect other people to do the job.
