I've looked through the stuff that's come home from school and none of it seems right based on the criteria they list on the site. I'm going to have to come up with an activity to generate some work samples. Any recommendations? I want this to be the work of my kid - I just need an idea to get them going.
If you have a child who is very clearly bright, you will have those work samples and know them when you see them. For that reason, I find this question odd on these boards. I have two in AAP and I knew when each one wrote something out that was surprisingly advanced, it was obvious. Think of something that shows your child as being above peers in his out of the box thinking.
