Did the Federal government threaten the networks if they didn’t remove those people? Try to keep up. Nobody would care if Disney sacked Kimmel because of ratings. Or even if Disney made a business decision to be less political. But Disney made its decision under threat from the FCC, which makes it a dangerous violation of the First Amendment.
