If you’re a parent and you think practicing violently is making your kid and team tough, you really need to think hard: are you building them up, or beating them up? Either case can look similar.

Yes… an ACL injury in a 12 year old girl is rare. And like I said, it’s typically genetics or dangerous practice. Why?! Because young kids don’t produce the force needed from landing and cutting due to their lower body weight, less muscle and slower speeds, as well as overall less rubbing of the ACL in the joint (less wear).
