Sources: Chiefs make Harrison Butker NFL's top-paid kicker
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs signed Harrison Butker to a contract extension that makes him the NFL's highest-paid kicker, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.
The extension is for four years and $25.6 million, with $17.75 million guaranteed, the sources said. At $6.4 million per year, Butker will make more than the previously highest-paid kickers, the Baltimore Ravens' Justin Tucker and Philadelphia Eagles' Jake Elliott, who both average $6 million on their contracts.

His address is hardly unhinged. He is speaking to graduates of a Catholic College as a Catholic himself.
I understand you don't agree with his beliefs... and there are some things he said that I don't fully agree with, but he is speaking based on his religious beliefs. And, he didn't call the people who use IDF and contraception "disordered."
He said that these things along with abortion, euthanasia, gender ideology stem from the pervasiveness of disorder.
Big difference.
I doubt you listened to his entire address because had you listened - you would hear that he has some hard words for his religion and some of the leaders of the Catholic Church.
He told any graduates who happened to be female that the main reason they were there was for their MRS degree.
Yup. This is why women are choosing the bear.
I think it’s more the threat of sexual violence that makes us choose the bear but greasy misogyny is sure an ugly look.
I keep seeing this “choosing the bear” thing and have no idea what it means. Can anyone fill me in?

What he said is controversial because of the other crap going on that conservatives have pushed onto the rest of us.
He said it at a Catholic college. I'm curious if you think people should be allowed to have conservative views.
His views are contrary to Catholic teachings at a Catholic college. So yes he is allowed to have his views. I know they are not Catholic views and I’d argue they are not conservative views either. They aren’t the conservative views by the definition of conservative. It’s alt-right religious fanatical views. Which he has the right to have.
I hate to break it to you but these are the same thing these days. I seriously don’t understand what rock you’ve had your head under.
You can’t change the definition of conservative because some lunatics call themselves conservatives.
When conservatives tacitly or implicitly support him, you have to own him. He’s yours. One of you.
Yet many conventional conservative don’t and called him out… like the nuns.
You don’t own every lunatic who attaches themself to your ideals and then twists and turns them into a bid to be a pundit on Fox when he retires.

Yep, he disrespected his uniform and city. Unauthorized use of the symbol (uniform). for political gain. Doesn't matter what you think he can do.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I haven’t read through 50 pages of comments. The Benedictine nuns don't. And they are more catholic than you or him.
Yes they are. I’m not Catholic at all. But I completely support his position.
Ok and many don't. Everyone is free to express their opinions, including those who don't agree with him.
He's a hypocrite, though. He's not "present" in his kids' lives. He's gone a lot for work.
I think the goal is to make it so that he is not free to express his opinions.
? he's free to express his opinion. Are others not free to express their opinions on his opinion? Another hypocrite.
Colin Kaepernick is an NFL player who was NOT free to express his opinions on wrongful and excessive police brutality. Weird how this double standard exists and is defended.
CK was conducting part of his activism while on the job and in uniform. Kind of a big difference, don’t you think?
