Pope Francis today:
Francis also reiterated his belief that coronavirus vaccinations were critical after being asked about Christians in Slovakia being divided over inoculation. He made an apparent reference to an American cardinal, Raymond Burke, who spread vaccine misinformation and then was treated for Covid-19 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
“Even in the College of Cardinals,” Francis said, “there are some anti-vaxers, and one of them, poor man, is in hospital with the virus. But life is ironic.”

Seriously. Maybe we should start a new thread to discuss this. Because I do not understand the mindset of the many, many nurses who are anti-science or believe in conspiracy theories.

I read she was pregnant and was worried about getting the vax.
Did she miss all the news about stillbirths and pregnant women dying?
Did she miss the news that nobody needs to have six children? How do you give your kids individualized attention, especially when you have a job?
Did she miss the ACOG recommendation that came out in like, April? People keep citing pregnancy as a legitimate reason to not get the shot. It is the reason you make sure you do not miss getting the shot.
This.
I am so over the large percentage of nurses who seem to not understand medicine

Conservative firebrand Bob Enyart, the pastor of the Denver Bible Church and indelible talk show host, has died from COVID-19, his radio co-host announced Monday on Facebook.
Enyart and his wife refused to get the vaccine due to abortion concerns, he said on his website.
In October, Enyart successfully sued the state over mask mandates and capacity limits in churches, a rare legal victory against broad public health mandates instituted during the pandemic.

Feel free to mock Enyart's death since he used to “gleefully read obituaries of AIDS sufferers while cranking ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ by Queen."

Oh, no I understand we’re supposed to have nothing but empathy for these broken down monsters. Or something. I’m out of it, at any rate. There are unvaccinated dum dums dying (like that California couple who had five kids, the fifth having been born via c-section after her mother was incubated) and for them I think, gosh, that’s sad that they’re leaving behind a whole family, maybe they didn’t have a work situation that allowed them to take off time for recovery if needed.
But for people like Enyart? Nope. Nothing. Not an iota of sympathy.
