Girl problems

It still doesn't answer why two elite players on the oldest Bethesda team left for other ECNL clubs. I believe that the year before, another elite player left for McLean. I have never heard of elite players at other local ECNL clubs leaving for other ECNL clubs. What gives?

Yeah, all the girls at FCV, Arlington, McLean and Loudoun are all short, slow players. Those are better clubs.

They are generally bigger at the younger age groups, but once things even out in size you need to have something such as skill or speed. If you're just big with no technical skill or speed then you probably are going to plateau.

Parents just get in fights with coaches at McLean to get them fired. No need to waste time with board politics.

True but no coaches have been fired. Maybe just stay at McLean or go to Metro.

No, that is not why they leave. They leave for other ECNL clubs because they want to develop, prepare for the next level and enjoy the game. Read between the lines and you will understand why BSC has issues. To be fair, these issues predate KL.

No one is leaving any of KLs teams. You don’t know what your talking about.

How would you know. I have seen some trying out for other teams. Changes won't be announced for next year until May at the earliest.

There are many players thinking about leaving. KL is not responsive to the players/parents looking at colleges. Many are thinking about moving to FCV for this one reason. KL needs to move on from his giant ego and realize the goal is to land these girls in college and not wins/losses. On the positive side, he has calmed down by 300% this year on the sideline. I have heard changes are coming as well but not sure in what matter. They really need a college friendly coach at the U15 through U16 age groups or players will continue to leave.
