Sorry you are an apologist for an ineffective politician.
yes, let's blame someone for something they have no control over.
I guess I'm not sorry you are an apologist for a weasel politician who takes no responsibility for the three year delay of her pet project which resulted in a six acre public park being closed for almost three years. Cheh sucks. And this whole thing makes her look like an ineffective politician.
Thousands of Ward 3 residents asked Mary Cheh to help get an outdoor pool in Ward 3. She delivered on that request. That the execution was bad is on the DC Department of General Services. I am sorry you don't understand basic DC civics.
Can we please shut down this thread? We're now on like 10 pages of two idiots yelling the same inane thing over and over at each other.

Hundreds of trees have been removed and a concrete complex has been built on the south side of Hearst. Once a carbon sink, Hearst has seen its carbon footprint increase substantially. Cheh owns this, and at the very least she needs to demand that DGS/DPR develop an accelerated plan to reforest the park, including the slopes!
Blah Blah Blah...where were your complaints about the weeds that overgrew those hills for the last half century? When everything is done, it will be a lot better than it was, including the water retention on site and the plantings on the hills surrounding the field. Or do you think the slopes should have been planted in August?
