Matt is gross. He said (on camera) to one of the camera women, "I don't care who you have to have oral relations with to make sure this does not go on air." If I was Gary, I would keep that creep away from my child's mother and their daughter.
I can't quite figure him out. On one hand, I give him props for understanding that when you feel embarrassed or disappointed on camera, you might need to just grin and bear it. He handled it very well with Amber. It's normal to be upset about something like that but to also rise to the occasion like he did by telling Amber he understands and it's ok. What's NOT normal is how he turned on a dime to saying they're done, she's psycho, don't air it, etc. Thats the psycho part, imo. That's what she needs to watch out for.
He now claims he was back on pills again and blacked out during that whole scene which is why he flipped out like a psycho. Whatever. Psycho from drugs or psycho from being yourself, I wouldn't want that around me or my kid. She'll realize he's an abusive sociopath at some point if she hasn't already.

Hush that! Tyler doesn't even WANT to be like JcPenney. He always wants to be a tiny clothing company from Podunk, Michigan.
The lacy toddler hot pants, the leather sleeves... you can tell how little time they spend dressing their actual toddler. Toddlers don't wear clothes like that (or, at least, they're not comfortable in clothes like that).

On one of the season finale episode where they're on stage with Dr Drew, Farrah complained about him as a doctor/mental health professional. Dr Drew's response was something like 'You do understand that I'm just a TV show host..." That changed the way I looked at his role in Teen Mom. He's not there to help them.
I don't think he is awesome at all but I do think he was right to say that because at that moment he was not acting in a professional capacity as a counselor/doctor/mental health professional and he certainly doesn't want to be construed as giving this kind of advice on the show since the show is for "entertainment purposes only"

Actually it seemed to me they almost ALL had sun damage. Maci may not have gotten sunburned, but you could see sun damage on the skin on her face. I saw sunburns on Matt, Caitlin, and Amber. Not Tyler.
Tyler had a tank top farmer's tan/burn. So pasty!

And he doesn't watch the show, so he has no idea about Ryan's behavior to even suspect drug use.
+1. It is clear on the reunion specials, or whatever they are called, that he doesn't watch the show.

On one of the season finale episode where they're on stage with Dr Drew, Farrah complained about him as a doctor/mental health professional. Catelynn and Leah from TM2 have both called him and asked for advice about addiction/treatment/therapy IIRC.

Maci said something about his family is worried about how it looks if Ryan seeks treatment. Let me guess. Jen and Larry are worried what people will say about their family ad their precious son?? Do they not realize that all of their friends, peers, coworkers, and relatives have eyes and can see that Ryan is drugged out of his mind? What do Jen and Larry think people thing of Ryan -- that he's merely a sleepy kid and that's why his eyes look like that?
