Glen Echo roller coast. My brothers use to stand up and try to touch the sign that said to remain seated.

The young girl Melissa Brannen who went missing at her apartment complex Christmas party. I was her age and remember my mother telling me about the case. It has stuck with me forever.

Wow, I remember this, too! What was that all about, does anyone know?

It is because the Mormon Temple looks like OZ so remember in the Wizard of Oz, when the witch writes "Surrender Dorothy". That is what it is about. I

No memories about Sr. Dorothy (sorry), but . . . anyone remember Sr. Margaret (math) at St. B's?

Or Sr. Petra (Latin) at Immaculata HS?

I do not know either, I went to the public schools. But my neighbors all went to St. B's. They talked about a sister who used to rough them up so much that they named her Sister Cassius Clay. Even us public school kids were scared of her. Do any of you St. B's alumni recall the moniker?

Was this a 7th/8th grade nun? If so, she taught my older brothers. I don't remember the "Cassius Clay" moniker, but there were stories... She was scary. A great math teacher, though, by all accounts.
