I find the absence of Jack Antonoff on TS12 interesting. He’s been her collaborator and producer on every album starting with Reputation, and those 6 albums were secretly or overtly about their common friend, Matty Healy. Perhaps she truly is trying to move away from it with this new TK era and her new album, or maybe it’s too painful. All those memories would break me.

She’s been Easter egging this album since midnights (2022) so it has been planned for a long while. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of these songs were written before TTPD. She even wrote/said herself that TTPD was something she had not planned on but had to be written. Part of getting Matty out of her system.

This albums seems fun! Yay!

Taylor is very self-aware and careful but she also curses a lot and admitted to cheating for years and then having a manic phase. She is not one-dimensional that is for sure. Travis doesn’t take himself that seriously which is refreshing. And he lets her be who she is and he loves it, which none of the other people before did.

The look on his face when she’s announcing the album is hilarious.

Any comment on her love life would undermine or expose her current relationship. She can’t do that because this is her shot at a regular relationship/marriage if she chooses that.

Any comment on the evils of the patriarchy and she would have MAGA eye on her (daddy doesn’t like that)
