Both squads lost a key girl to bad injuries last week. Hate to see that-too young.

Most are already at SR & staying for HS

That’s great. Remember there is nothing wrong with playing JV as a freshman.

Wonder how many are going to SR? The middle school team is already huge, I can’t imagine the competition come HS with new recruits.

Maybe bc some of us are just looking for another option. regardless, if no drama then its boring, no? is that what you're sayin?

Sure, though there is finite talent in the area and at some point the additional options just dilute the quality. I’m sure the best players have gamed it out and the rest of us are looking for scraps b

Correct! YJMA 2029

Clinic was full of girls from every team in the area.

Seems like a no-drama situation. If the team gets filled with skilled players, it will be a great situation for its players because of all the YJ contacts out there. For sure a nice alternative if a not top choice.

While the M&D name is all they want to win, but make no mistake it is all about the M&D Black team in the end.

Totally. This should not be controversial. Clubs with multiple teams operate this way. For example, if one of the Capital Orange teams started beating Blue they would 100% move players up. It's just the way it works.

And if they don't, an implosion happens and people leave altogether.

See Heros 2026s...

Sorry but I’m out of it, can you explain more hero’s and what happened?

About 4 years ago, the Heros White team was a top 5 team, was even #1 in the nation at one point. Despite all of this talent, nearly the entire team left the following summer, 1 to hero Green, 3 or 4 to Skywalkers, 1 to M&D Black, and the rest to mid-tier programs. The next season Hero's White wasn't a top 50 team.

Your numbers are off as more than 1 went to Green and more than 1 went to Black. Quite a few ended up at M&D Red. The big thing was they were consistently beating M&D Black and then did beat Green. It also caused drama with M&D because the influx of new girls meant Black cut several girls. So it was just an overall 2026 drama filled summer that year.
